As part of our commitment to making things better, the planet is at top of our list. Let’s take a look at some of our sustainability efforts:

FSC® Certified

Recently we unveiled our Bamboo Laundry Hamper LUXE. This chic and sustainable laundry hamper is available as a single or double hamper. The cotton/poly blend liner is removable, so you can toss it in the wash too. The main body of this gorgeous hamper is made from 100% FSC® Certified Bamboo. 

The FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible forestry. FSC® is “a system that verifies that products come from responsibly managed forests, ensuring environmental, social, and economic benefits.”

This means, the bamboo used for the hamper is harvested from an FSC® certified forest and therefore has the smallest environmental impact.

100% Recycled Polyester

You may have seen references to 'rPET' or a "Cooler for the Planet" logo with a water bottle count throughout clevermade.com - these refer to recycled polyester. 

That's right! Recycled polyester (rPET) consists of recycled materials such as plastic bottles. Not only does recycled polyester require 59% less energy to produce than virgin polyester, but it also maintains the same quality!

You'll find 100% recycled polyester as the main body material in product collections such as the Pacifica Collection.

Its design inspired by the natural world around us, with colors that reflect the beauty of nature.
