We at CleverMade love absolutely any excuse to get together with loved ones to share good times over great food! Being the foodies we are, we thought we would share a mouth-watering dish idea for your Thanksgiving festivities this year.
If your crew likes to start off with a light grazing period (what we call warm up) start off with this decadent baked brie!
8 oz. Round Double Cream Brie Cheese
1 Tablespoon Melted Butter
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
¼ Cup Craisins
½ cup Apples
¼ Teaspoon Cinnamon
Heat the oven to 350°. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter, mix in ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Mix in ½ cup of chopped peeled apples and a ¼ cup of craisins. Cut the Brie in half horizontally and place one half rind side down in an oven safe dish (use the one you plan to serve in) put half the apple mixture on top of the bottom half, cover with the top half of the Brie rind side up, put the rest of the apple mixture on top. Wrap tin foil around the dish and cook for 15 minutes until ooey gooey melty goodness commences. Pop the dish in your Thermo LUXE Tote to keep it toasty warm until you arrive to the party and serve with crackers and fresh baguette!
For those of you looking to spruce up your holiday cocktail game, you can’t go wrong with this refreshing Cranberry Orange Sangria!
1 Orange – Halved and thinly sliced
1 Apple – Halved and thinly sliced
1 Cup Cranberries – fresh or frozen
3 Sprigs Rosemary (optional)
32 Oz. Cranberry Juice Cocktail
1 750 ml. Bottle White Wine (Such as Pinot Grigio)
½ Cup Orange Liqueur (Such as Grand Marnier)
Combine all the ingredients in a pitcher and refrigerate for four hours. That’s it! When it’s time to serve, grab your cute wine glasses and serve over ice. *Pro Tip: Save some apples, oranges, cranberries, and rosemary sprigs for garnish!
We hope you have a lovely time celebrating this food filled holiday with all the people you love. Don’t forget to grab your Tahoe Cooler to transport any additional beverages or your Sonoma Cooler LUXE to make toting bottles of wine a breeze (which also gives you extra hands for carrying the grub!). Enjoy the day and keep the stretchy pants close!
