Keeping it Cool

We know you love your CleverMade coolers and with warmer weather on the horizon, you’re going to be seeing a lot more of them. We’re going to give you the inside scoop on how to properly care for your coolers so they last year after year!

Who doesn’t love keeping cold drinks cold? Your cooler is handling some precious cargo, let’s make sure we’re taking care of it! Each time you finish using your cooler, dump everything out, cans, bottles – be sure to recycle! -  leftover ice, etc. Once this is done, let the cooler completely dry before putting it away. Leave the cooler open to air dry for a few hours or speed up the process by using a towel. Any moisture left behind could cause mold or a bad smell which we definitely want to avoid. This is especially important for our Collapsible Coolers.

Guess what? There is a trick to collapsing coolers the right way. It’s the same method as our totes so if you haven’t already, give the Instagram reel a quick view. We want to make sure the cooler is collapsed down properly to be as compact as possible. Pro Tip: If your cooler has a shoulder strap, keep it neatly tucked inside the cooler itself so you don’t have to worry about losing it.

For any dirty spots, use a towel with warm water and mild soap or disinfecting wipes to dab. Make sure not to rub on any spots as that can make the dirty spot into a stain. Let any wet spots fully dry before collapsing down and putting away. When looking for a storage space for your CleverMade coolers, be sure there is enough wiggle room, so fabric doesn’t snag, and the body isn’t under pressure from any angle. This will ensure your Collapsible Coolers are looking fresh out of the box longer.
