Red, White and Booze
Summer is here and you know what that means! Days spent lounging in the sun, relaxing, without a care in the world. We have the perfect cocktail – and mocktail – that pairs perfectly with a warm summer day. Let’s check it out!
Firecracker Cocktail Ingredients:
1 oz. Grenadine
½ 12 oz. bottle of Mike’s Hard Lemonade
1 oz. Blue Raspberry Vodka or Blue Curacao
- Start with a tall glass, 16 oz. typically works best. Pour one oz. of grenadine directly in the center of the glass, trying not to get any on the sides.
- Fill the glass with ice and slowly pour in ½ the bottle of Mike’s Hard Lemonade.
- Carefully and slowly layer 1 oz. of blue alcohol of choice over the top of the lemonade. You can either use a pour spout on the bottle or flip a spoon over and slowly pour over the rounded end. This step needs to be done very slowly so the blue doesn’t mix with the other colors but creates really beautiful layers.
Firecracker Mocktail Ingredients:
1 oz. Grenadine
6 oz. Lemonade
1 oz. Blue Kool-Aide or other blue colored juice
Follow the same instructions for a gorgeously layered – and tasty – mocktail.
