Place the scooped-out avocados in a large bowl and add a little more than half of the lime juice. Add in salt, cumin, and cayenne and start squishing with a potato masher. Mash to whatever consistency you prefer (we like some chunks of avocado!) and using a spoon, fold in onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and garlic. Add the remainder of the lime juice on top and serve with tortilla chips.
